Bar Harbor is one of our favorite ports. The first place we go when we get ashore is to a lobster restaurant. After a hearty lunch, we started our stroll through Bar Harbor. The shops are filled with antiques, gifts, and treats. We each had our digital cameras and each  snapped some of these images.  This is in the doorway to a restaurant in this  peaceful, honest New England town. Notice the reflection in the center lower window. We had tendered in to port from Splendour so began to make our way back to the dock when it was time to go "home." As we pulled away from the dock we got one more look up the main street of Bar Harbor. Our timing was perfect... ...because we could see the fog rolling in... ...as our tender arrived alongside Splendour of the Seas. Images by Lois A. & Kjell T. Evensen - October 2, 2000
