Serenade of the Seas Deck 7 above the theater

My cabin will be on deck 7, #7020 on Serenade of the Seas which is near the front of the ship. According to the deck plan, deck 7 is above the theater. Can I expect to hear the music or performances from the theater or do they put enough sound insulation to prevent this?

Thank-you.

July 30 - August 4, 2007 - Sovereign of the Seas - Port Canaveral to Port Canaveral - Warren - warjo2611@yahoo.com - Family Vacation - This is my family and I first cruise, so we are looking forward to the cruise. I've been thinking about a cruise for years(since the late '80's), but I thought it would be too expensive. So now my wife, kids(teens), and I are going cruising.Everyone I have spoke with said my family and I would enjoy the cruise, and many even sugjested the Sovereighn of the Seas size ship. My wish is to see and experience everything RCL has to offer, to meet people, and to enjoy ourselves. So if their is anyone and their family going on this cruise, see you there.

Sailing from Southampton, UK

Navigator of the Seas will soon be making its first departure out of UK from Southampton, April 26 is first date I think. We'll be sailing on August 28th and would appreciate any input on anyones experience of port embarkation from Southampton. I've read other comments on this ship and it all sounds good but again any comments from passengers out of UK will be thankfully received.

boarding question

what is the earliest I can board the explorer of the seas out of Miami if the ship is set to sail at 5:00 pm, thanks in advance.
Louis

Hi Louis,

The earliest boarding is around 11:30 AM, but is commonly closer to 1:00 PM depending on how long it takes for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement to process the passengers from the previous cruise.

Enjoy!

Mediterranean in November

Is this a good time to cruise the Med?

Hi Frank,

Any time is a good time in the Med.  Keep in mind that it can be quite cool up near Venice and quite warm down near Malta at the same time so you'll want to bring clothing that you can layer to be comfy wherever your cruise takes you.

Have a great cruise!

mattress replacement on Adventure of the Seas

When are the mattresses scheduled to be replaced on the Adventure of the Seas?

Hi Mike,

I had hoped someone would write in and answer your question here on the site, but no one has done so yet.

I do know the beds and bedding have been changed completely onboard Majesty of the Seas and it is wonderful.

Best,

thriller powerboat tours

Hello, I have been all over your site..I been trying to find out about this Thriller speed boat tour..but I dont know what ships offer this excursion, or how to find out where it is on the island, price, pictures of it, etc...please provide info and links on your site, so I can find out about your Thriller tour rides..thank you

Hi Jason,

What island are you interested in?

Generally, shore excursions are run by private companies in various ports.  You might try Royal Caribbean's web site for any thriller rides that are sold through the ships or on the company's private islands.  You should find full information there.

For rides that are available to be purchased off of the ships, you might try a google search for "thriller boat ride" and include the name of the port that interests you.

Have a great cruise,
