Fabulous! This was my first cruise and I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

My daughter and I were with a group from work. I was one of 18 who won a trip for two. There were mainly couples but my coworker and I took our daughters aged 17 and 25 and we all had a fantastic time.I admit I don't have anything similar to compare it to, but I loved every minute of it.
We thought that the ship was beautiful. Our group met in the Viking Lounge the first night for a welcome party. The lounge is surrounded by glass for a panoramic view. Watching the sun go down on the ocean was everything I had imagined. We're from Minnesota, no oceans here. The shows at night were very entertaining and I'm glad we went. There was a comedy act the first night in the Sound of Music Theatre and the next night was a musical theme featuring songs and dancing from a lot of the somewhat current movies; Dirty Dancing, Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Footloose etc. It was a fun time.I thought the food was great. Breakfast was served in the Windjammer cafe, buffet style. The only line I actually stood in was for coffee but it wasn't long at all. Lunch was the same. Plenty of choices and all very good.

We had our dinner in the Vincents dining room. I saw very few tuxedo's mainly dark suits for men and cocktail dresses for women on the formal night. The other nights the dress was a little more casual, men in polo's or jackets and long pants, women in sundresses, pants or capris - no shorts. The menu featured enough choices to satisfy everyone including a vegetarian selection. The rock climing wall seemed popular as did the hot tubs and the 2 pools.

There seemed to be plenty of room on the upper deck and around the swimming areas. Even when it looked full we were able to find lounge
chairs.

The excursion into Ensenada was somewhat disappointing. I wouldn't bother with that again. But some friends went to the blow hole and seemed to like that. I'd try the wine tasting excursion if I went again. All in all, we loved it. I want to try another cruise soon!

Cruise reviews can be extremely helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write and tell us about it by using our special form here.  Sincere thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have the benefit of shared information and experiences.
