We've been married 32 years and never went on a cruise - you know with two children - braces, clothes, college expenses, etc. not much left over for vacations...but we finally went to our travel agent and asked for a vacation recommendation.  Since we live about 30 minutes from Port Canaveral, she suggested a 4-night cruise on the Sovereign of Seas.  She said 3 nights would be too short, and she was definitely right!!  Also, for just a few dollars more, you sail one more night.

What a surprise, this was a fabulous experience.  We can't wait to book the next cruise.  The people you meet are so friendly.  They are from all over the world.  I can't say enough about the ship's crew and staff, the food, the service, the quality entertainment, and the experience itself.  It is definitely the way to vacation.  I dare say that a vacation in a hotel would cost much more, and you would not be pampered like you are on a ship.

Although not a new ship, it is still very nice.  It shows its age here and there, but I would book a cruise on it again tomorrow.  If you can overlook a ding here and a scratch there and focus on what a great experience it is and on what wonderful service you receive, then it will be a fantastic trip!

We got a stateroom with a window.  We felt that for the small additional amount, it was well worth it.  There is so much to see.
