The Explorer was top notch and we had the best time. We had great food and really great entertainment. I did my homework ahead of time and here is what we did at the ports.

Day 4- Ocho Rios - I was so nervous about this excursion as I booked it myself for my group of 8 friends. Turned out to be a great deal and great day. Do yourself a favor and book with Peat Taylor. Picked us up at the dock. Took us on fabulous tour-stopped for pictures at some really neat sites. Got mine taken with a Fern man dressed as Jack and the Beanstalk and a fire eating guy. Then off to Dunns River where he left us for 2 hours and gave us tips how to avoid the vendors. Picked us up at 1 and then off to the The Ruins Restaurant-excellent - 14.00 PP includes drinks - buffet - waterfall in the middle of the restaurant-outside dining. did not want to leave. Then off to beach where part of the group went snorkeling. He picked us up again and dropped us at shopping-offered to come back for us but we were like two blocks from the pier so we walked. His fee which included the 10.00 for Dunns River was 30.00 PP - Naturally we all tipped him well as it was such a nice day. Very professional and felt very safe. His 18 year old son was with us and was my personal picture taker. What a nice kid-extremely polite. Everyone is still talking about this day. He has web page His web page mentions a different beach which sounded nicer then were we were but we were pressed for time.

Cayman Islands- We booked with Captain Marvin's Watersports and again it was a hit. Everybody in my group loved it, When you get off the ship you go left like two blocks and check in at Capt. Marvin's 39.00 PP for adults (children are cheaper) . The we shopped for about an hour and went back to start our excursion. They take you to the boat and then off to two snorkel stops and then swim with the stingrays. It was so nice as we were in a group of maybe 30. What a perfect day !! When we got back we went poolside on the boat till dinner. www.captainmarvins.com You need to reserve with c/c ahead of time . ( he does not charge you until you show up plus he gives you 10% off in his store and a small rum cake) HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

Cozumel - I can honestly say I wish we did not shop as it took too much time. We took a cab when we were done shopping at went to Chankanaab National Park. What a find - beautiful place 12.00 PP to get in. They have beach chairs (loungers ) and straw umbrella type things and the best of all is you snorkel right there. Unbelievable. They have a couple restaurants and we sat right next to one on the beach. Had a great lunch there and drinks. Missed the Sea Lion Show and they also offer the Dolphin Encounter Deal. Snorkeling is great and no extra charge. We barely had time to wonder around the park but did see the waterfall and lots of iguanas. Felt very safe here and plenty of cabs to get back to the boat - less than 5 minutes away. What a beautiful day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!
