Excellent experience; lovely ship, pleasant, attentive
staff; food was great (to our relief, having read somewhere it wasn't very
good!) We had a balcony stateroom on 9th floor, which was very nice and more
spacious than we'd expected. Ship was full but never felt crowded. Side trips
- Magen's Bay; terrific experience with Shane #1 as the driver in St. Thomas;
America's Cup sailing in St. Maarten - not to be missed, exhilarating - but
watch out for over-commercialised shop visit after. Only negative comment
- art auctions irritating as broadcast throughout ship, drinks are at "big
city" prices (but we had no problem taking alcohol for our own consumption
on board) and the dancing is often interrupted by the Cruise Director's silly
shows, instead of playing taped music during the band's intermissions - but
overall, a wonderful trip, will go again.
