This was our first cruise, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary (with 3 other couples). What a wonderful experience to be pampered for a whole week. The ship was beautiful and comfortable in all aspects. The food was great and plentiful! We will definitely cruise again! Onboard activities were made available but not pushed on us. Even during the day at sea, the ship did not feel overly crowded (although I understand it was booked to the max.) The ship's captain took us on a couple of 'side tours' enroute with his personal narration (a drive by of the Piton's, along with a close look at the devastation caused by the volcanic eruption on Montserrat).

Barbados was our favorite island, but not sure why. (SNUBA was fun!) The gondola ride up to the view point in St. Thomas was breathtaking. We will second Wendy's comments on the America's Cup Regatta on the bay in St. Maarten. It was an experience not to be missed! Our "Pirates of the Carribean" sail in St. Lucia on the "Brig Unicorn" to Pigeon island was fun (but the engine was running the whole time, never a true 'sail'). We learned that 'black' sand beaches (in St. Lucia) are very hot to walk on. We were 'attacked' by way too many taxi drivers in Antigua wanting to take us to the 'best beach' on the island (which, we surmised, was always the farthest from the dock). (They didn't understand the word, "No!")

On a scale of 1 - 10, we rate this vacation as a 10+ in every aspect. We couldn't think of a better setting to enjoy time with each other, and to renew our committment for the next 25 years.

Cruise reviews can be extremely helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write and tell us about it by using our special form here.  Sincere thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have the benefit of shared information and experiences.
