Panama Canal on Splendour of the Seas

The is a gorgeous ship! We had a great time! The crew was wonderful, food and entertainment was good and the 11 days flew by! The solarium with the full gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi was to die for. If you go to Jamaica be sure and take in Dunn's Falls. The Canal was beyond my expectations. You can read about it -- see films on it but unless you actually experience it you can't believe how this was accomlished in the early 1900's! My husband took in the Peacock Bass fishing trip in Gatun lake. A little disappointing as the guides were young and experienced. Costa Rica was beautiful. Plan to go there again and spend some time Only disappointment was Belize. The tour we wanted was sold out so we just took the tinder to the pier. Tourists who took the tours told us that the tours themselves were nice but that the town areas were very, very poor and 3rd world-like. Glad we missed that! Overall, a great cruise experience and especially easy getting onboard and off in Galveston. Highly recommend RC and Splendour! Please email
