Subject:
cruise / 5 days / Sovereign of the Seas / RCI

Old Ship / small rooms / on 7th deck
NO balconies
great service / great staff
great parties

However someone did get sick this trip and we where in port by midnight instead of 8am When you port nearly everything comes to an end. Only the bars are open.

The ship really needs some work and was glad to hear that in November they will dock for 30 days and make many changes and improvements.

What ever you do if you are in Nassau and take the Champagne Catamaran tour under the stars ---- PLEASE wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothing. The information on board said it was dressy and classy. NOT! And the champagne comes in plastic glasses. BUT... it was beautiful sailing. And the crew on board where nice. Also you have nibbles if you want. AND... there is a long walk to the dock where you get onto the catamaran.

We are already booked on the "Jewel of the Seas" for the 8 day cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In November (20th) On deck nine and D suite. Can't WAIT.

We are hoping for a great time. Stopping at San Juan, Puerto Rico 2:00 pm 8:00 pm Philipsburg, St. Maarten 9:00 am 6:00 pm St. Johns, Antigua, West Indies 8:00 am 5:00 pm Charlotte Amalie,St. Thomas 8:00 am 5:00 pm Friday, Nov 26, 2004 At Sea -- -- Nassau, Bahamas 12:00 pm 6:00 pm
ANY suggestions on what to do??? We do love to snorkel! and have our own equipment.

e-mail and share with us at housedenman@earthlink.net

and oh yeah by the way if you don't like sweet drinks they make a great Apple Martini on board / just make sure they make it with Absolut Vodka! Yummy! You will only need 2. :)

smooth sailing and blue skys always, Erik and Karon

Cruise reviews can be extremely helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write and tell us about it by using our special form here.  Sincere thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have the benefit of shared information and experiences.
