I've sailed to the Bahamas last year so I thought that
it would be a good idea to gather a large group together of family & friends.
So, I did it was about 40 of us that went and we were excited. The ship was
nice and they had a lot of activities to do. We figured this was an all grown-up
cruise (No Kids). Saturday morning after finishing breakfast the Captain came
on the line and stated that Nassau, Bahamas was cancelled and they will find
more activities for us to do. We were disappointed but we figured that it was
beyond our control. So we sucked it up and dealt with the matter. The next day
was CoCo Cay and of course that was cancelled too, due to rough seas and winds.
The captain stated that he tried several other ports but he was not successful.
So my story is for 3 days we sailed in the Atlantic Ocean with no destination.
They kept us full and half way entertained but it was a huge let down. We thought
that after all we didn't get a chance to see any islands that maybe RCL will
either refund us part of our money or re-book the cruise. They told us they
couldn't do it at all. In other words you sail at your own risk. So my advice
is to look at the Weather Channel before you go on any cruise. Thanks
Cruise reviews can be extremely
helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation
consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard
an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write
and tell us about it by using our special form here. Sincere
thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have the
benefit of shared information and experiences. |
