Subject: Just Back from the 12/12 Majesty of the Seas
Hi Everyone,
I'll keep this short and sweet but wanted to just do
a quick bit of feedback from this sailing.
I consider myself an experienced cruiser and have sailed
most all lines (Diamond Member with RCI, NCL, HAL, Celebrity, Princess, Carnival)
so I consider myself keen in spotting quality in terms of hardware, service,
crew, etc.
I have to say that the Majesty of the Seas reigns very
high in all categories. I am in love with the Sovereign class of ship and
have sailed all three (including former Sovereign). The ship looked impeccable
and very well maintained. Just about EVERY staff member I passed (from officers
to the deck attendants) made a point to smile and greet me when walking by.
On the first night in Spectrum, the bartender took my
card and thanked me for coming back to Royal Caribbean. I felt like royalty
in his dealings with me and tipped additional. I know that this is their job
but not everyone HAS to or does.
I'm a fitness fan and the only thing I missed were elipitcal
machines and/or stair machines as are present on Monarch of the Seas. Majesty
has just bikes and treadmills. But that's it!
I am prepared (as are my traveling companions) to rebook
Majesty and I will recommend her to my friends to have them join.
All of you who have upcoming cruises aboard the Majesty
are lucky and I trust that you will walk away with the same experience as
I encountered.
It was an incredible treat to be docked adjacent to
Monarch of the Seas by night in Nassau this past Saturday.
For those of you who know my web site (shipcafe.net),
I will be publishing a photologue of both her and Monarch of the Seas in the
near future.

Cruise reviews can be extremely
helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation
consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard
an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write
and tell us about it by using our special form here. Sincere
thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have
the benefit of shared information and experiences. |
