Vizcaya
Miami, Florida
Vizcaya, the winter retreat of industrialist James
Deering, was completed in 1916.
Its 34 decorated rooms are open for public viewing.
Vizcaya has hosted Presidents
Reagan and Clinton, Pope John Paul II, and Queen
Elizabeth of England and is a
wonderful place to explore before or after your
cruise. Now on the National Historical
Register, it is owned and operated by the Metro-Dade
Park and Recreation Department.
Entrance fee: $10 for adults; $5 for children.
Photos may only be taken outside.
